Rules For Comments: The CEA Blog is open to all registered commenters. You can register to comment by clicking the register button.
- The CEA Blog is a moderated forum; all comments that are submitted by readers must be approved by a moderator prior to it becoming public. Therefore, comments pertaining to or about individual students, colleagues and administrators that could be construed as libel, slander or a breach of any kind of confidential information will not be permitted and you will immediately removed and banned from this blog. Member concerns regarding the enforcement of the Master Agreement at your work location are best directed to your Senior Faculty Representative or the CEA office at 614-253-4731.
- You should treat this form of discussion just as you would a face-to-face conversation. There will be no tolerance any other form of harassment directed towards the moderators or other posters. If this rule is broken, you will be immediately removed from this blog. Proper etiquette must be observed at ALL times by ALL users. Others here may be as adamant in their opinions and ideas as you are.
- Frivolous and non-constructive comments will be deleted by the moderators.
- Your participation is desired, but a person’s right and desire to participate ends where it begins to violate the right and desire of others to participate and harms The CEA Blog’s capacity to maintain a welcoming forum for all.
- Obscene, slanderous, abusive, attacks, expressions of prejudice and bigotry, or use of profanity by any commenter will not be tolerated and will result in the deletion of the comment and the banning of the commenter.
- All comments from every user will automatically be moderated for each and every post.
- CEA is a democratic organization. However, since the Landrum-Griffin Act prohibits the use of union dues for internal election activity, comments that argue for or against any candidate within the Columbus Education Association will be removed.
